We are currently the only vaulting team in Lincolnshire.

We are not a professional vaulting team and we do not compete but there are two other teams which do.

We became members of the B.E.V  (British Equestrian Vaulting) in June 2006.

The Lincolnshire Equestrian Vaulting Display Team (L.E.V.T)  was set up in 2005 by Terena Bolam who is now a qualified Level 2 coach. Between May 2005 and July 2007 the team were known as the N.H.H.C Vaulting Display Team but took on a new name and logo shortly after this.

The L.E.V.T offer vaulting lessons to both adults and children either as a group or private throughout the year. We also put on displays and demonstrations to raise awarness of the sport and hold have-a-go days and an annual vaulting camp.

Please feel free to check out the site and use any of the links. If you have any questions or would like to know more about what we do then please get in touch.

NEWS UPDATE!

April 2008

These are our two new boys, Samson and Bosun. This will be their first summer with the team. Bosun has completed his training in Warwick and is now back with us preparing for his first display. Samson has not started his training yet but has been watching Bosun with excitement. As you can see they have become great friends. There are some more pictures of them in the gallery.

Update!

In February Bosun spent a few weeks in Warwick where he did his training and he enjoyed himself so much that he did not want to come back to us. He spent three weeks away and I will post some pictures of him on the gallery page soon. Samson is doing well and is looking forward to the nicer whether so that he can go into the fields. Harvey is taking a break at the moment but spent the winter helping the team with their training sessions.

The team are doing a recruitment drive to try and get people interested in the sport. We currently have lessons available and would like the team to expand. Anyone interested in the sport or wishing to have a go can contact the team and arrangements can be made for you to meet the team. Private lessons are also offered.

Meet Bosun!

This is Bosun. He is a percheron and is on full loan to the team. He is six years old and quite a character. He is still young and very playful but is fitting in well. Bosun is a typical percheron and is not happy unless he is breaking something and the volunteers have some repairs to do because he has damaged his stable, bent gates and broken fences.
